This coming May 21-22, 2016, the UP-PGH DOVS together with the Ophthalmology Residents' Alumni Association (ORAA) will be holding our second postgraduate course of the year, entitled Basic Course in Clinical Diagnostics and Instrumentation.
This is a two-day comprehensive seminar designed for ophthalmologists in-training and for general ophthalmologists who would want to review basic knowledge on diagnostic tests and instruments used in the clinics. It will be comprised of short lectures, small group discussion and hands-on training by the faculty members of the PGH DOVS and distinguished alumni of the department. The lectures will tackle essential skills needed in the different subspecialties of ophthalmology, complemented by small group discussions of relevant cases in different subspecialties and hands-on training in the usage and application of different diagnostic tools and instruments.
